Ive tried
  • Different versions of Vista INCLUDING 64 bit
  • Different MPEG-2
  • Turned services on and off
  • Different Video card
  • Vista WDM driver Vs Ati latest catalyst driver
  • Vista WDM driver Vs Latest Fusion Driver (FYI WDM one was actually better)
  • Faster HDD
  • PCI BIOS Settings
  • Ram timings
  • BEFORE installing ICe after ice

It all comes back to the driver.
