Re: Silverstone LC20 HTPC case

Hi Glen,

I just purchased the LC20M and I'm pretty impressed with the layout of the case.

I'll point out one correction in your review - I managed to get a mATX motherboard to fit in their nicely, although there has been some issues with aligning the PCI cards with the screw points at the back. If your not careful screwing in the PCI cards to the case results in the card being pulled out of the PCI slot (not completely, but enough to cause ad hoc problems).

The other problem I had with the case was the front audio connectors. I've tried every combination I could think of with my ASUS motherboard but haven't been able to get either the front audio connectors to work. As the back on-board audio connector is now also playing up, I'm wondering if it is the motherboard.

But even with those problems, it is an attractive case that has been well-thought out.

Regards

Ford
