It's sad, but ICE TV as a commercial entity may be in danger regardless of the outcome of the case. If they lose, it may be difficult to find a business model which would allow them to continue providing EPG services while complying with the rulings of the court.
If they win, what is to stop the broadcasters from supplying a free EPG service. The tradition of one-upmanship which exists in their own personal version of school yard politics all but guarantees that Channel 9 (and the others) will make ICE TV pay for their 'insolence'.
Personally, I'm behind ICE TV (subscription is being renewed) and I hope that the courts will recognise the bullying and anti-competative practices employed by the plaintifs for what they are.
