Microsoft Security Essentials Beta Available

Microsoft today released the Microsoft Security Essentials (MSE) beta via Windows Connect (which requires a Windows Live ID), the sign up process for the beta includes a seven-question survey. MSE is Microsoft’s free, real-time consumer antimalware solution for fighting viruses, spyware, rootkits, and trojans. The beta is available in English and Brazilian Portuguese for the first 75,000 users and although Microsoft says this is a target number, it is willing to increase it if necessary....
